WINTER SOLSTICE DETAILS ANNOUNCED

With just over three weeks to go, we're excited to announce details of our first Winter Solstice at the new Jockey.

On Monday 21 December at 6pm, we'd like you all to join us on the Terrace to welcome the coming of Christmas in true Chorlton style. The choir of St Clement's Church and Bucephalus Brass will be here to lead the carols, and Santa will be on hand with a gift for every child.

A hog roast will be served, and there'll be lashings of gluhwein, cloudy cider and winter ales to help wash it down!

Later on, Bucephalus Brass will be inside the pub, with their own unique take on your favourite festive tunes.

We're praying for a crisp, cold winter's day, so please wrap up warm. Snow would be perfect be we can only dream! If the weather is bad, the event will take place in the pub.

The plan is for this to become an annual event to bring together the local community at the start of Christmas week.
