'CHORLTONBURY' SUMMER SOLSTICE
For those of you who weren't lucky enough to get tickets to Glastonbury this year, we've got our very own mini 'Chorltonbury' to celebrate the summer solstice. Friday, 21st June from 6:30pm we're hosting a festivity on The Green. Entertainment will include fire performance and stilt walking from 'Foolish Rogues', Egyptian dancers, Dr. Butler's hat stand medicine band, psychic grotto and mystic stalls PLUS a BIG BBQ and fire dance at sunset!
OUR 4TH BIRTHDAY BASH
Time flies when you're having fun...can you believe we're almost 4 years old?! We're celebrating in true 1950's style this year. So ladies, time to get your hands on a 'poodle skirt', gents get your hair slicked back and start practicing doing 'the twist', sock hop style. On Friday, 24th May from 7pm we're having a party with rock-a-billy, canapés and cocktails. Live music from Johnny Hick and The Jukejoint Allstars!!!
LIVE MUSIC NIGHT
Our monthly music night has moved to the first Thursday of the month. There will be more upbeat music to celebrate the first weekend after payday! Come along on Thursday, 2nd May at 8pm to see 'Lazlo Baby'.

FARMERS MARKET AND CRAFT FAIR
Visit us on The Green on Saturday, 27th April, 25th May and 29th June (11am - 5pm) to get your hands on some delicious locally produced foods, homemade fancies and handmade crafty type things! This is a perfect Saturday afternoon for food lovers and kitsch creators everywhere.
DOG SHOW ON THE GREEN
Calling all proud puppy parents!! It's that time of year again...time to parade our pooches around Chorlton Green to decide who will be awarded the title of best doggy. Why not enter your pup into the competition or just come along to watch? You never know, we may even find the next 'Pudsey the Dog' and give Britain's Got Talent a run for their money. Join us at The Horse and Jockey on Tuesday, 23rd April from 6pm.
GOURMET BEER FEST
Our first Gourmet Beer Fest comes to the Horse and Jockey from Thursday 21st March - Saturday 23rd March, from 8pm. Calling all beer lovers and those with general good taste...this event is perfect for you! Tickets are £20 and are available from the pub.
